Nothing can replace natural teeth and be as lifelike, effective and long lasting, not even a dental implant.
Since nearly one in every three people snore, the chances are that someone in your household is a snorer. Snoring may not be of particular concern to the snorer (after all they are asleep), but it can be extremely frustrating for bedmates, even leading to tension and hostility in relationships.
Basically, the tongue and soft tissues of the throat and mouth relax during sleep, they collapse into the airway making the airway smaller. This smaller size airway causes the air passing through to increase in speed, which in turn causes the soft tissues to vibrate. This vibrating tissue results in snoring.
The anti-snoring device or snore silencer works by helping to prevent snoring. It does this by lifting the soft throat tissues and keeping them from obstructing the airway. The device accomplishes this by bringing the lower jaw forward, by holding the tongue forward and by lifting the drooping soft palate.
Grinding your teeth and wearing them down? Jaw joint tight and sore?
Bruxist / bruxism is the involuntary or habitual grinding of the teeth, typically during sleep. If this is your problem then we can make a very minimal device that fits securely over the lower teeth to be worn at night.
This ensures that the damage from grinding is kept to a minimum.
Occasionally a disaster happens, your denture breaks, cracks or a piece comes off. You may need to lose a tooth and have it added to your current plate. Your current denture may be loose but the appearance still fine.
We are able to make repairs, additions and relines in one day. Just make sure that we have your denture by 9am and you can have it back as good as new the next day by 9.30am.
These appointments are designed to help give you information about how we can help you achieve your perfect smile, without any financial commitment.
